1. What are Internet cookies?
Internet cookies are short pieces of data used by web servers to help
identify web users.
2. What are packets?
Packets are bytes that carry information to their destination.
3. What route do packets take over the Internet?
They are sent to the best available route, which might be taken by all the other
packets in the message to make the network more efficient.
4. What is a 404 error on the web?
It is an HTTP standard response code indicating that the client was able to communicate with the server, but either the server could not find what was requested, or it was configured not to fulfill the request and not reveal the reason why.

5. What is 'e-commerce'?
Electronic commerce consists primarily of the distributing, buying, selling, marketing and servicing of products or services over electronic systems such as the Internet and other computer networks.

6. What is the difference between ebay and craigslist?
When you search for craigslist, you type in an area and it shows different products available in that area. When you look for something on ebay, you don't know where it is coming from.
7. What is SSL?
Secure Sockets Layer
8. What are the two major ways for home users to connect to the Internet via a high speed connection?
DSL and Broadband are the ways to connect to the Internet via a high speed connection.
9. What is a T-1 line?
A T-1 line means that the phone company has brought a fiber optic line into your office.
